HALF A MILLION - THE BEST EXPORTERS OF THE REGION

On September 16, the awarding ceremony of the regional contest "Exporter of the year of Vladimir region-2019" took place in the White House. Applications for the contest were submitted by about 50 Vladimir companies - small and medium businesses.
The contest is held in the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" and is a regional stage of the All-Russian prize "Exporter of the Year". The contest was organized by the Vladimir Region Administration. The best ones were determined in five categories:
As Pavel Shibilov, the Director of the Vladimir Region Export Support Center, explained, the winners were chosen collegially and according to the approved methodology. The competent jury included representatives of the departments of the "economic block" of the regional administration, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vladimir customs and for the first time - companies that distinguished themselves in the field of export activities in 2018. Another competitive innovation of this year - in each category were awarded not only first, but second and third places. It was also decided to mention 19 contestants for their activity.
Vladimir Sipyagin, the Governor, also spoke about the importance of entering foreign markets, opening the ceremony of awarding the winners.
"Entering foreign markets is the highest level of activity for any enterprise, an undoubted quality mark. We welcome this initiative and provide assistance to business. A whole complex of educational, financial and non-financial measures is envisaged to support and accelerate the development of export activities, - said Vladimir Sipyagin, emphasizing that despite the high competition abroad "courage is taken not only by cities, but also by whole countries and continents".
Highlighting the effective work of the Regional Export Support Center, the Governor handed over a letter of gratitude to the Director of this organization, Pavel Shibilov.
As a result, the first place in the nomination "Exporter of the year in industry" was taken by Carpet LLC "Novy Rasput".
The company manufactures plywood. The company's export share is not less than 95% of the total output. Last year alone, "Novyi resurs" concluded nine contracts with foreign partners for 39 million Euro. Carpet-makers' clients are enterprises of Europe, Africa, South-East Asia, among them are car giants "BMW" and "Mercedes", world leaders in production of electric cable products, floor coverings and packaging. As Vadim Shmakov, the Director General of "Novy Resource", noted, the share of the enterprise's success falls on the Export Support Center, thanks to cooperation with which the carpet company trained its personnel and concluded several profitable contracts through electronic trading platforms.
The second place in this nomination was taken by JSC "Vladimir Precision Alloys Plant". The third place was taken by MNPP Initsiativa LLC from Alexandrov.
The jury recognized "Garnets" Ltd. as the best exporter of 2019 in AIC - the producer of flour and flour mixtures. This is the first company in Russia that has received the right to use the "Crossed Spike" sign - an international symbol for the safety of gluten-free products - when labeling its products. In 2019, the company's export volume grew by 73%. "Garnetz" expanded the geography of sales and began supplying products to Mongolia.
The second place went to Diet Prom LLC from Vladimir, and the third to Melagro LLC from Melenkovsky District.
The diploma of the winner in the nomination "Exporter of the year in services" went to LLC "DML-Logistics" (Kovrov). The main achievement of the company in 2019 is the export of six new participants in foreign economic activity. "DML-Logistics" organizes "turnkey" the whole chain of foreign economic activity: customs clearance, currency control, certification, logistics.
Second place at OOO Jewelry Factory "Golden Domes" (Pokrov).
The first place among the contestants who fought in the nomination "Exporter of the Year in the field of high technologies" was awarded by the jury to the research and production enterprise "Technofilter" (Vladimir). The products of this company are known in more than 50 countries around the world. Annual sales volumes of "Technofilter" Ltd. grow by 2-3%, and in 2019 - by a record 8%.
The second place in this nomination went to JSC NPO Politzell (Vladimir), the third - to Baromembrane Technology LLC (Vladimir).
"Breakthrough of the year" was the manufacturer of decorated tableware LLC "DecorStyleGlass" from Gus-Khrustalny. Last year, the company's export portfolio increased nine times, in ruble equivalent - by 97.8 million. The company plans to increase the share of exports to 20% of the total turnover in 2020.
The second place was shared by Bergus LLC (Bogolyubovo settlement) and GEFESD LLC (Sobinsky district).
The third is OOO "Optic Design" (Vladimir) and OOO "Eva Glass Glass Plant" (Gus-Khrustalny).
The owners of the first places were given a name stele, diploma and certificate for 100 thousand rubles. It gives the right to use the services of the Center of export support of the Vladimir region free of charge: from document translations, purchasing tickets for the participants of the business mission to finding partners abroad and organizing the company's stands at international exhibitions. Pavel Shibilov, the Director of the Center, said that the exporters, who had won the contest before, used their prizes very actively and with benefit for their enterprises. Besides, the victory in the regional contest gives a chance to fight for the title of "Exporter of the Year" in the Central Federal District and for the all-Russian similar award.
The award ceremony ended with the presentation of thanks to the members of the jury and a general memory photo.
