PAVEL SHIBILOV'S PRESS CONFERENCE WAS WATCHED BY ALMOST 4,500 PEOPLE
25 January 2021
Pavel Shibilov, Director of the Export Support Center, held a press conference. He spoke about the results of the Center's work, assistance to enterprises during the first wave of the pandemic, successful practices of the Center and plans for 2021.
UNIQUE TECHNOLOGIES
The Center for Support of Exports of the Vladimir region took the second place in the country by volume of supported! Thanks to the export contracts of Vladimir enterprises, which used the services of the Center, this figure has exceeded the set KPI more than 4 times. And amounted to $ 64 million. Over-fulfilled plans to bring enterprises to international electronic forums, search for a partner abroad (46 searches have already been completed in 40 countries).
- This year one of the unique practices of the CCE was the search for a partner abroad with the help of a program DC-bot, developed by Konstantin Evseev, a businessman from Vladimir. Unlike others, it allows you to find potential buyers and send requests to the heads of enterprises. The customer in the shortest possible time receives a complete and accurate database of buyers in accordance with his request. The technology has practically no competitors in terms of advertising, thus giving one lead at a very low price. The Russian Export Center has recognized this technology as one of the most effective in the country and it is already used in a number of regions," said Pavel Shibilov.
Another sought-after service this year is bringing enterprises to international electronic trading platforms (Alibaba, Europage, eBay, Allbiz, fordaq and others). They allow for online retail sales.
WORKING THROUGH THE PANDEMIC
During the lockdown, the Export Support Center worked remotely and quickly solved problems for businesses. For example, in the spring some products under a certain TN VED code were banned from leaving the country. This included medical patches produced by Bergus. To resolve the situation, the Export Support Center turned to Alexander Pronushkin, a representative of the Vladimir region in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. He helped solve the problem - the necessary changes were made in the legislation, and the products left Vladimir's warehouses. The company "Garnets," which produces gluten-free flour, was also helped. On the whole, during the pandemic not a single enterprise that cooperates with the Export Support Center closed down.
ABOUT TOURISM.
In 2020, the Export Support Center began to develop the tourism industry. Despite the pandemic, the Vladimir region still managed to take part in the largest Asian tourism exhibition "KOTFA-2020".
- We conducted a market research and found out that you can get a serious profit if you interact with tourists from South Korea. In 10 months we began to prepare for the November exhibition "KOTFA-2020", made a great stand. But because of the quarantine we could not get to it. We were helped by the Trade Representation of Russia in the Republic of Korea headed by Alexander Masaltsev who agreed to represent our interests in absentia. We sent presentation materials. The Trade Representation studied tourism potential of our region and told about it wonderfully at the exhibition. There were 9 enterprises from the sphere of hotel and industrial tourism as well as folk crafts presented at our stand. As a result, our region was judged by the whole country, and our stand took first place, - said Pavel Shibilov.
ABOUT VLADIMIR INVESTMENT CONGRESS
The Center for Export Support held two events at the Vladimir Investment Congress: Conference "Measures to stimulate export activities in the conditions of transformation of traditional algorithms" and round table "The role of municipalities in the development of export potential of local business: how to find and grow new exporters". As a result, we managed to organize a lively dialogue between the top officials of the 33rd region, representatives of the Russian Export Center and exporters from the UAE, Benin, and Vietnam. And at the round table, the region's exporters spoke openly about their problems, which can only be solved with the participation of local authorities.
ABOUT THE PLANS
Next year the Center for Export Support will continue to work with the countries of the CIS, Middle East and South-East Asia. Special attention will be paid to interaction with Africa and Brazil. According to the survey, these directions are in great demand among exporters.
