INDUSTRIAL TOURISM AS AN INVESTMENT ATTRACTION

"Exporter of the Year of the Vladimir Region-2019" took the second place in the category "Service Industry". Why this nomination? Because the plant actively practices excursions for all comers: schoolchildren, adults, foreign tourists.

You should agree that an impressive offer is to go behind the scenes and see everything with your own eyes and touch everything with your own hands," the website of the Jewelry Factory says.
The new type of service is in great demand. Many people want to look behind the scenes of jewelry production. And as we see, it also brings victories in regional contests!
Now the Department of Economic Development is compiling a register of enterprises interested in industrial tourism. The list already includes 14 companies of different profiles: jewelry, glass manufacturing, light industry, high technology, production of products for children and much more.
The development of industrial tourism is:
- increasing the investment attractiveness of the regions;
- improving competitiveness and promoting local brands and regional products;
- creation of an effective career guidance system for schoolchildren and students;
- attracting a tourist flow to the regions;
- organizing experience exchange and establishing industry relations.
And for enterprises, industrial tourism is a cost-effective tool for promoting products, promoting brands and building consumer loyalty.
The Vladimir Region Economic Development Department invites all companies of the region to participate in this project. Below are attached methodological recommendations for the development of industrial tourism in the regions. They have been developed with the participation of the Strategic Initiatives Agency. In fact, this is a practical guide to action and a step-by-step instruction to create industrial tours.
