GARNET WILL BUILD A FLOUR PLANT IN VORSHA

On January 13 within the framework of his working visit to Sobinsky district the first deputy governor Alexander Remiga inspected the production premises of the future "Garnets" flour and flour mixtures plant. He was accompanied by Konstantin Demidov, director of the Department of Agriculture of the Vladimir region, and Alexander Razov, head of the Sobinsky district administration.

"Garnets" as a production company exists in the market since 2008. The main type of its activity is the production of cereal and grain flour, as well as semi-finished flour and culinary products. The company specializes in the production of gluten-free flours, pasta and baking mixes. The assortment of gluten-free products is about 60 items. On average, Garnets produces about 4 thousand tons of finished products a year. Now the company is implementing an export investment project worth about 300 million rubles. Work is underway to launch a new plant for the production of flour, flour blends and gluten-free products in the village of Vorsha in the Sobinsky district. Expanding the production will create new jobs and increase the volume of products.

"It is important that the company produces goods for those who have to adhere to a gluten-free diet for health reasons, or lead a healthy lifestyle. The company's goods are already represented in many federal networks, in addition, the company is active in export activities. In 2019, the volume of exports was about 450 tons," said Alexander Remiga.
As reported by the CEO and founder of the company Olga and Viktor Timofeev, they actively use available mechanisms of state support at the regional level.

"We applied to the Export Support Center of the Vladimir region, received services in the Regional Engineering Center on the basis of the "Business Incubator", also received compensation of part of the costs for equipment in the Center for Entrepreneurship Support. At the new production we will use high-tech modern equipment that will preserve all the useful properties of grain. In addition, we plan to apply energy-saving technologies in production "- said Olga Timofeeva.

Recall that the company "Garnets" is a recipient of CPE33. It participated in international exhibitions as a collective stand, and we are constantly in touch with the company. For example, during the March restrictions due to the covid pandemic, the Export Support Center helped Garnets continue its work. At that time its products were under an export ban. Then we promptly reported the problem to Alexander Pronushkin, a representative of the Vladimir region in the Federation Council, and thanks to his personal involvement it was solved.

The company presented its experience in December 2020 at the Vladimir Investment Congress. It was the first Russian production facility that received the right to label its products with the "Crossed Spike" mark (an international symbol of gluten-free food safety).
