EIGHT VLADIMIR COMPANIES TOOK PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION PRODEXPO-2021

The 28th International Exhibition for Food, Beverages, and Raw Materials for their Production, Prodexpo 2021, ended in Moscow. It was held from the 12th to the 16th of April in the "Expocentre" on Krasnaya Presnya in Moscow.
The Vladimir region was represented by eight companies in the collective stand organized by the administration of the Vladimir region in the face of the regional Export Promotion Center. Participation took place within the framework of the national projects "International cooperation and export", "Small and medium business".

These were the organizations:
LLC "MilkAgroService" - manufacturer of dairy and refrigerating units, processing equipment and components (Kovrov);
LLC MNPP "Initsiativa" - manufacturer of smoking and freezing chambers, saws for carcass cutting, block cutters, meat choppers, clippers, injectors and other equipment for meat processing shops, modular shops and processing lines (Alexandrov);
LLC "Diet Prom" - producer of sweeteners, sweet mixes, confectionary products on sugar substitutes (cookies, crackers, puff pastry) (Vladimir);
LLC Vybor-C (drinking water "Ya") - regional producer of natural bottled water and soft drinks (Vyazniki);
OOO Gorokhovetskaya Manufaktura, a producer of confectionery and cereal products under the Leti brand (cookies, bread, bran, corn sticks) (Gorokhovets);
OJSC "Sobinsky Bakery Plant" (bars "Smartbar") - makes products from natural ingredients for healthy and proper nutrition (bars and ready-made breakfasts) (Sobinka);
Meat Engineering LLC - is a member of the ASP Group, produces equipment for the meat industry and food enterprises, as well as for hygiene and sanitation at enterprises, carries out technological design of meat-processing shops for new construction or reconstruction of an existing building (Alexandrov city);
OOO "Pokrovsky gingerbread" - manufacturer of souvenir gingerbread with different fillings (Pokrov city).
 
Each company had its own showcase at the booth and an opportunity to negotiate with potential buyers. There were a lot of them. Thus, among the interested were representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, India, Iran, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Tunisia, Uzbekistan and a number of regions of Russia, including the Far East. Our companies have established more than 500 contacts during the work.
 
- "Prodexpo-2021" is one of the most popular exhibitions for producers of food products. For the Export Support Center it was important to ensure the maximum presence of the Vladimir export-oriented enterprises. It has become a common opinion that exhibitions, which were held in an online format during the quarantine period, can replace the usual events. At the same time, we believe that it is necessary to work both online and offline. There is no substitute for live communication. We are glad that it was decided to return to the usual format. As a result, representatives of the companies during all the exhibition days actively worked with potential foreign partners and conducted negotiations, the result of which should be new export contracts. Participants highly appreciated the organization of the exhibition, they were satisfied with the place chosen for the exposition, and now we will be waiting for new contracts," said Pavel Shibilov, director of the Export Support Center. 
 
And here's how the companies themselves assessed their participation in Prodexpo 2021.
 
 - This is our first time with the Export Support Center at such an exhibition. This is very informative for us, we have received about 20 actual applications, and we will be processing them. There are inquiries about the equipment we have exhibited and our activities in general. We have had a chance to get acquainted with the products of our potential customers. We are satisfied with our participation in the exhibition and with the help of the Center we would like to take part in our specialized exhibition "Agroprodmash" this autumn, - commented Andrey Dmitriev, the General Director of Meat Engineering Ltd.
 
- The exhibition was great! We would like to thank the administration of the region represented by the Export Promotion Centre for organising a collective stand. This is not the first time we take part in this exhibition with the Centre and every time it is very productive. We communicated with representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan. Tunisia was interested in our milk coolers and continuous pasteurization baths of different volumes. Now we will work out this question. In Russia, they are Kurgan, Barnaul and the Tambov region. They are looking for equipment for small-scale processing. People are interested in quality products and are willing to spend money on equipment to understand what they produce and what they eat. This is a major topic right now. Now many enterprises are engaged in renovation, re-equipment and we can help here, - says Alexander Zaika, General Director of MilkAgroService LLC.

- On the whole we liked the exhibition, of course we would have liked more people. Distributors and retail representatives from different regions of the country, including Kamchatka, came up to us. There were representatives from Iran, Iraq, China, India and other countries. We presented about 17 products at the exhibition, including protein cereal bars and ready-made breakfast cereals. In the future we plan to participate in other exhibitions together with the Export Promotion Center, but we would like to have more shelves, - says Stanislav Tanov, brand manager of "Sobinsky bread-baking plant".
 
The company "Pokrovsky Gingerbread" has already been with the Export Support Center at "Prodexpo" as part of the collective stand in 2017. Then it presented its products individually. This time it decided to take part in the collective stand again. Needless to say, the products of Pokrovsk confectioners were in great demand. Six large spice cakes were tasted by the guests of the exhibition only on the first day! The spice cakes are widely represented on the marketplaces, they are actively sold in Moscow and the Moscow region, in Kazakhstan. The company even has branded bakeries in Pokrov. They make not only gingerbread, but also cakes, pancakes, and pies.
 
- Our product range numbers more than 50 items. New tastes appear all the time. For example, one of our novelties is gingerbread with jam; kovrizhka - gingerbread with boiled condensed milk, walnuts, raisins and almonds. Recently we have had an imperial gingerbread. This is a printed gingerbread, painted with food coloring. There are different kinds of jam: cherries, cranberries, strawberries. We often make gingerbread to order. Recently the famous hip-hop singer Nastya Kudri ordered a gingerbread with her picture on it for her birthday," said Snezhana Antropova, sales manager of Pokrovsky Gingerbread LLC.

- Armenia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and many Russian companies. By the second day of the exhibition, there were about 60 cold clients. I hope they will grow into warm ones. Our company is five years old. Our production volume is 120 tonnes per month. We export to Kazakhstan, Belarus, and through intermediaries to China. We make up the names "Hrumchenie", "Muslichenie" (flourless cookies), "Frumchenie", "Kremchenie", "Fitchenie" ourselves. Of the novelties - buckwheat bread with onions and mushrooms, rice bread. We produce 50% of our own products and 50% CTM (own brand) for major retail chains. All of our products are focused on healthiness, so we have cookies with carrots and pumpkin. I'm sure that food is not only an emotional pleasure, but also good for health, - says Maxim Myasnikov, regional manager of Gorokhovets Manufactory LLC.
             
For the first time a company from Vyazniki, "Vibor-C" (Drinking Water "Ya"), participates in the exhibition as part of a collective stand. It is produced there, in Vyazniki artesian wells that are 90 metres deep and it is written on the producer's bottles.     
 
- If the water is artesian, the bottle should say artesian water, the depth of the well and its number. Our company has existed since 2000 and our product range is about 50 kinds. This year we have launched soft drinks of the "Starter" series with the flavors "Bubble Gum", which uses a natural blueberry dye, "Hooba-Booba" and "Mango Tropic". They are aimed at teenagers who like everything fashionable and bright.

In general, the release of a new flavor is always preceded by a lot of work. We research the needs of the target audience because preferences can change depending on age. But we have offers for all kinds of tastes. Our products are sold in the Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, Moscow regions, Yaroslavl and Chuvashia. At the exhibition, representatives of the Far East, the Crimea, and foreign countries were interested in our products. That is why we will be very interested in training seminars on foreign economic activity, which are held by the Export Support Centre. We are planning to take part in them, - said Maria Kovalenko, brand manager of "Vibor-C".
 
Apart from potential buyers of Vladimir region production during those days the booth of the 33rd region was visited by representatives of Russian Export Center, noting the proper co-branding, performed at the booth; Vice-President of CCI of Vladimir region Dmitry Kuzin; federal TV channels, which filmed some videos about the exhibition.
 
In addition to the eight Vladimir companies which participated in "Prodexpo-2021" as part of a collective stand at the "Expocentre" in Krasnaya Presnya were presented and other companies of our region. They presented their goods at the individual stands. They were "Technofiltr" Ltd., "Vladimir Steklo" Ltd., "Crystal bell" Ltd., "Home Recipes" Ltd., "Endaxi" Ltd. and others.

The 28th International exhibition of food, drinks and raw materials for their production "Prodexpo 2021" includes 42 countries, 10 national stands, 32 regional expositions, 85 thousand square meters, more than 1,500 companies, 1307 companies from the regions of the Russian Federation and 30 thematic salons.
