BUSINESS MISSION FROM WESTERN AFRICA MOVES TO JUNE
17 March 2020
The business mission from West Africa, which was supposed to take place in late March, is postponed to the end of May and beginning of June 2020. At the same time, the Center for Export Support of the Vladimir Region will continue to provide regional exporters with services to find partners in foreign countries.
The transfer of the business mission is connected with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, which, due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus, introduced a restriction on the entry of foreigners from March 18 to May 1, 2020.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that entry restrictions will not apply to truck drivers, diplomats and people who live permanently on the territory of the Russian Federation, the Izvestia newspaper reported.
“The restriction on entry will not apply to crews of aircraft, sea and river vessels, train and locomotive brigades of international railway traffic, members of official delegations and persons holding diplomatic, official, ordinary private visas issued in connection with the death of a close relative,” statement.
In addition, Mishustin held a series of telephone conversations with the heads of the CIS countries. The parties agreed to maintain contacts on issues related to the threat of coronavirus infection.
Recall, from March 13, a ban was introduced on passenger flights with Germany, France, Italy and Spain. At the same time, Russian airlines will be able to operate direct flights only from terminal F Sheremetyevo to Rome, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona and Paris.
Since March 16, the borders with Belarus have been partially closed.
The epidemic of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the causative agent of severe pneumonia COVID-19, began in late December 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan. As of March 16, about 170 thousand people were infected in the world, nearly 78 thousand were cured, and more than 6.5 thousand died. Now 96 patients with coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia.
